Peaklander LTD is a Crane & Hoist Maintenance Specialist based near Buxton in the middle of the Peak District, Derbyshire. We are ideally located to serve surrounding areas such as Sheffield, Chesterfield, Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, Macclesfield and Manchester as our location falls almost central to the three counties of Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Chesire.

We are available 24/7 for any breakdowns and can usually respond to the above areas within the hour. Wether it be electrical or mechanical we are confident that we can get your lifting equipment back into production as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We also carry out routine maintenance and servicing, this can be at a customers one-off request or we can arrange a servicing contract to suit your needs. Servicing and Maintenance Reports are provided and LOLER Certificates can be supplied as requested.

We can also provide an installation or removal service of gantry/overhead cranes or hoists. Subject to a competent Lifting Plan and Risk Assessment this doesn’t always require the hire of a mobile crane. We have installed and removed cranes and hoists with HIABs, Forklifts and Telehandlers.

We carry out work on all types of Lifting Equipment and can usually source any specialist replacement parts from such suppliers as Demag, Street Crane, Kone, Donati, Misia, Morris, Abus, Verlinde, Stahl, Clayton plus many others. We carry out works on Gantry Cranes, Semi-Goliaths, Goliath Cranes, Swing Jib Hoists, Underslung Hoists, Top Running Hoists and Chain Hoists. We have also been known to work on the odd Dock Crane.
